How to set up Notion Integration?

To utilize the Files to Notion app, you need to set-up your own Notion Integration. It guarantees a direct connection between the app and Notion servers, without any involvement of third-party services.

Please follow these three steps:

STEP 1. Create your own integration

1. Go to https://developers.notion.com
2. Click “View my integrations”
3. Click “Create Integration”
4. Define a name of the integration (you will need this name in STEP 2.3) and click “Submit”
5. Copy “Internal Integration Secret” and paste it to the Files to Notion app

STEP 2. Link integration with your workspace

1. Open your Notion workspace
2. Create a new Page, where your local files will be reflected
3. Enable Integration for the Notion page (Open Settings → Connect to, and select your integration created in STEP 1.4)
4. Copy “Page ID” and paste it to the Files to Notion app

STEP 3. Link integration with “Files To Notion”

Define both:

• Internal Integration Secret, and
• Page ID

in Files to Notion app.
