How to define your custom name or change database location?

If you desire greater flexibility in this matter, please utilize the concept of Notion's "database views".

Simply create a new database wherever you prefer, hit "Select a data source" and point to the Files database.

If you want to keep your local files directory always in sync, please avoid changing on your own:

• the database name
• its columns (names of existing, adding new)
• parent page (moving the database out of the page specified in configuration)
